The construction of the balanced belt eliminates all tendency of the belt to creep to either side on the drive pulley and balances operating stresses as to prevent them from growing into localized and destructive strains. This is obtained by coupling a right hand with a left hand wound spiral and joining them with a pre crimped connector rod.
